Manufacturing super cars of extremely high performance and carbon fibre of only the best quality is the culture at one of the top Italian car manufacturers, Pagani Automobili S.P.A. Horacio Pagani was the founder of this now infamous company. Horacio was living in Italy, but as an Argentine company manufacturer, when the entire concept fell into place. Juan Manuel Fangio, a 5 time Formula 1 champion, was also part of the company's initial stages and he assisted Horacio in landing a job with Lamborghini where he worked for 10 years. Horacio's dream was to produce "the most beautiful car in the world".
Pagani is the brand behind the only car model the company has ever produced: the
Zonda (the name meaning "the wind of Los Andes"). These spectacular super cars were first introduced in
1999 are known to reflect the philosophy of Pagani which is "marrying the most innovative
technology to the loving care of the 'artigiano' handwork". All
Each of the Zonda car models are actuated by unique mid-mounted V-12 DOHC engines which are created by Mercedes-Benz's AMG division exclusively for use on the Pagani Zondas. Jet fighters as well as the highly acclaimed Sauber-Mercedes Silver Arrow Group C vehicles were the inspiration behind the design of the Zonda. The stylized exhaust pipe is said to be one of the most differentiating attributes of a Pagani. The Pagani Zonda F has been voted as one of the world's top super cars.
In September 2005, Mobile Media Company MoConDi made known to the public of an exclusive worldwide rights agreement with Pagani Zonda for the production and promotion of mobile entertainment services to showcase one of the most desired automobiles ever made. This alliance would enable users to start up their engines and turbo charge their mobile phones. Imagine a roaring Pagani V-12 engine ringtone and viewing a Zonda in action on video or while playing a game - all in the palm of ones hand!
Pagani manufactures a limited amount of no more than 15 cars a year, thus making these super cars extremely high quality rarities that will probably never lose value.

2007 is said to be the year of Pagani again and Horacio Pagani is apparantly set to expose his brand new super car that has been rumoured to remain with a "family feeling" to the Zonda but at the same time be completely new and unique.
